Rapid Response from Techs4Education

Schools were working hard over the Christmas break to make sure they were Covid secure for the start of the Spring term.  The weekend’s Government announcement to close all primary and secondary schools across England until further notice prompted a swift response from headteachers.

The switch to online and remote learning for Lockdown II has been immediate. While experience was gained from school closures in 2020, the Techs4Education team has been very BUSY getting its schools remote capabilities up and running at short notice.

Techs4Education has a clear purpose to help schools manage educating pupils in a lockdown situation.  We have been working closely with headteachers, school staff and students, to maximise access to classes and curriculum material from the outset of term.  The schools we work with have been remarkable at making this happen with little warning.

Our own team at Techs4Education have been fantastic too and not only been into schools,  but provided a great deal of helpdesk support to members of staff and pupils.

Working together with schools, we have achieved good results in what has been an incredibly challenging week.

The Headteacher of Owslebury Primary School in Hampshire, thanking Techs4Education, wrote:

“I just wanted to express our huge thanks to your fabulous team.  I know this week has been manic and came out of the blue too…….  I am sure you will also have been bombarded with lots of niggles, queries, etc ….

“Every issue, query we have had this week, and there have been many, has been sorted rapidly by your team.   All our team are very grateful and appreciative of your support.  Thank you.”
